In Montpellier France, in July 2015, Dr. Susan Willson of St. Lawrence University presented information about her study of Birdsbesafe® cat collar covers during the International Conservation Biology Congress. Her poster session was entitled, "Birds be safe: Can a novel cat collar reduce avian mortality by domestic cats (Felis catus)?" This study was previously published as a journal article in Global Ecology and Conservation Journal.

Just a short note to mention that despite the resemblance to a certain human hairstyle accessory, the patent pending Birdsbesafe® cat collar cover is designed for cats and their cat safety needs. It's an open-ended tubular shape and you slide a breakaway cat collar into it to hold it onto the cat's neck. Both pieces release under pressure--for your cat's safety outdoors. Murdoch University in Perth, Australia has done a lengthy and large field study of Birdsbesafe devices and their effects on native fauna (including birds and lizards).
