How much fun is this? Our bird-saving products were featured in Alex Hallatt's internationally syndicated comic strip, "Arctic Circle", yesterday November 4th. Wow! So cute. See Alex's short blog post about cat predation on birds that inspired her, here. Or link to the comic strip here to share on social media.

Just a short note to mention that despite the resemblance to a certain human hairstyle accessory, the patent pending Birdsbesafe® cat collar cover is designed for cats and their cat safety needs. It's an open-ended tubular shape and you slide a breakaway cat collar into it to hold it onto the cat's neck. Both pieces release under pressure--for your cat's safety outdoors. Read on the FAQ page for more details. PLEASE, do not put an elastic band around your cat's neck. Thanks! We love cats and birds!

You can find the study here, in the journal of Applied Animal Behaviour. Or if you want the short version from the press, the Daily Mail, a U.K. based newspaper has written it up, here. We're happy to summarize the research highlights, as we understand them, and then, for the details, please do give the above references a look.
